Handwoven Wearables

I work in rayon chenille and a lighter weight tencel and bamboo; making scarves and shawls to drape around your body and fleece lined hats to keep you warm. I also have a line of rag rugs and wall hangings, made from recycled clothing. Each piece is created by hand, thread by thread, on a loom in my beautiful studio in Putney, Vermont. I love the endless world of color available, and work in many different color ranges, making colors sing and creating pieces that are visually stunning and luxuriously soft. I especially enjoy the process of taking my color work one step further and helping customers find the perfect combination to complement their own colors, tastes and moods. My work is sold at craft shows and galleries throughout New England, by appointment in the studio and online. Feel free to call me with a special request. I run Vermont Weaving School and offer floor loom weaving classes for beginners and experienced weavers. I have been weaving for thirty years. I feel blessed to have found my home in the beauty of Southern Vermont, surrounded by fields, woods, gardens and animals. I love what I do ...I hope you love wearing one of my weavings as much as I have enjoyed making it.
