Blown and Sculpted Glass

Glassblowing is a process of taking a super hot liquid and freezing it to room temperature in a controlled but sometimes precarious balancing act of heat, gravity, timing and human intervention. Nick finds glass most beautiful when worked in such a way that it captures and eventually expresses its fluidity as a material while maximizing its unique relationship with color and light. Nick designs his work to be decorative but most of his glass is functional as well.
